During my three years at UM, I taught beginning conducting four semesters and intermediate conducting one semester. Incoming graduates learned how to teach conducting by working in teams.
During this class on preparatory beats, I instruct the class while incoming graduate students work with the undergraduate students on mastering the techniques.
